The event
The Nelson Mandela Bay Music Video Film Festival 2026 is a celebration of music, film, television and visual storytelling, bringing together musicians, filmmakers, directors, producers, actors, photographers and creative professionals in Gqeberha, Nelson Mandela Bay. The festival creates a platform for African creative talent to showcase their work, connect with audiences and build meaningful relationships across the creative industries.
Taking place on 24 September 2026, the festival celebrates the power of music videos and visual storytelling to reflect culture, identity and contemporary African experiences. Through screenings, creative engagement and industry connections, the festival provides an opportunity to discover emerging talent, celebrate established voices and strengthen the visibility of Nelson Mandela Bay’s creative community within the wider African cultural landscape.
